Judge Richard Sinnott of Boston; ethical troll

The state of Massachusetts provided Richard Sinnott with a law license in after he graduated from Suffolk University School of law.

Gov. Charlie Baker was duped into appointing Dick as a Boston Municipal Court judge in 2017. Dick didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Boston area. He received it because he was deemed to be a reliable lackey by the local political hacks.

The Massachusetts Commission on Judicial Conduct is investigating Dick for engaging in the following misconduct.

• Refused DA’s request to drop charges v. Straight Pride counter protestors
• Held attorney Susan Church in contempt for lobbying Dick to accept Suffolk County District Attorney Rachael Rollins’ recommendation to not prosecute her client
• Told protestors who appeared before him to “stay the hell out of Boston

DA Rachael Rollins responded to Dick’s conduct by saying:

• “His insistence on arraigning individuals when my office has used its discretion to decline a case is an unconstitutional abuse of his power and serves neither the interests of justice nor public safety.”
• “The actions of Judge Richard Sinnott are unprecedented and outrageous.”

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Dick by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission. At worst he’ll receive a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2019), Dick continues to sit Boston Municipal Court judge in Boston, Massachusetts.
