Former Judge Kenneth Marbot of Pittstown, NY; scofflaw, loser

The New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct found Kenny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which occurred while he was sitting as a Justice of the Pittstown Town Court, Rensselaer County.

  • Presided over a case involving his wife’s nephew Joshua Wysocki
  • Wysocki was ticketed for speeding at 60 miles and hour in a 45 miles per hour zone
  • Subsequently, Wysocki failed to appear on the return date and failed to enter a plea by mail
  • In presiding over the Wysocki matter, Kenny failed to disclose his relationship with the defendant
  • Failed to uphold the integrity of the judiciary
  • Failed to avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety
  • Failed to respect and comply with the law (scofflaw)
  • Failed to disqualify himself in the Wysocki matter when disqualification was mandatory

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Conduct Commission punished Kenny by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. April 2022), it is rumored that Kenny has an application pending for a job as a stock boy at the Walmart Supercenter Store at 760 Hoosick Road in Troy, New York.
