Judge Allen Amos of Paint Rock, TX; bigoted loser

In one matter, Judge Amos has been accused by a defense attorney of using a vile anti-Latino slur.

While overseeing trespassing cases leveled under the Operation Lone Star scheme, Judge Amos said defendants weren’t “your regular wetbacks.” A complaint about the slur was filed to the State Commission on Judicial Conduct by Emily Miller, the defense attorney to whom Amos made the remark. Judge Amos is charged with using the slur when discussing his apparent belief that asylum-seekers swept up under the racist policy are more affluent. Amos the Bigot then said:

• “They have phones and clothes and all kinds of other thing.,” he reportedly said.
• “Ah yes, because we all know that cell phones and clothes these days are so expensive that they continue to be reserved for the privileged few.”
• “These migrants are not ‘our regular wetbacks.’”

It should be noted that Judge Amos is a former Concho County Judge who is 80 years old and was selected by the Kinney County judge to replace several judges who were not acting with a racial bias. Put simply, Amos could be relied upon to treat immigrants from south of the border with total contempt.

A complaint has been lodged with the Texas Judicial Commission about Judge Amos’s racial slur and conduct. Given the Commission’s conduct in acting as apologists for Judicial Misfits in Texas, it is highly likely that Judge Amos will not be subjected to any punishment.

As we speak (ca. September 2022), Amos continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence and bigotry as an assigned judge for Concho County in Paint Rock, Texas.
