Judge Dianne Hensley of Waco, TX; homophobic loser

The State of Texas presented Michael T. McSpadden with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law.

The State Commission on Judicial Conduct found Judge Hensley guilty of the following misconduct.

• Refused to perform weddings involving same sex couples
• Authored a document which he instructed court staff to hand out to all same-sex couples stating: “I’m sorry, but Judge Hensley has a sincerely held religious belief as a Christian and will not be able to perform any same sex weddings.”
• Told the Waco-Tribune, the public and the Judicial Commission that her conscience and religion prohibited her from officiating same-sex weddings
• Cast reasonable doubt on her ability to act impartially and without bias

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Dianne by gifting her with a complimentary public warning.

As we speak (ca. January 2020), Dianne continues to sit as Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1, Place 1 Waco, McLennan County, Texas.
