U.S. Judge Patricia Minaldi of New Orleans; serial drunken loser

The state of Louisiana presented Patricia Head Minaldi with a law license in 1983 after she graduated from Tulane University Law School.

Former President George W. Bush was duped into appointing Patricia as a judge of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana in 2003. Patricia didn’t get the appointment because she was the most qualified lawyer in the greater New Orleans area. She got it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

It should be noted that Patricia has had her significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past thirty-four years (1983-2017) after she graduated from law school. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the New Orleans  area was about to offer Patricia the Lush a good paying job.

Evidence of Patricia’s years-long love affair with bottles of Gin daily is as follows:

  • Pled guilty to driving under the influence in 2014
  • Video showed her arguing with a police officer and refusing to get out of her car before police arrested her for drunk driving outside her Lake Charles home
  • Feb 2016, removed from a man’s fraud case following series of mistakes in routine trial procedures
  • March 2016, removed from criminal cases against a sheriff and subordinates
  • Dec 2016, criminal trial cut short w/o explanation before jury could be picked to hear child pornography case

U.S. Magistrate Kathleen Kay said Patricia was diagnosed with severe Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome, a degenerative brain disorder linked to alcohol abuse. Court records show that Patricia’s condition was so severe that she was "unable to take care of her daily activities" and "unable to safely take care of her personal needs, financial matters, or her property matters."

It’s obvious that Patricia was a drunken loser when she accepted an appointment to the bench in 2003, a fact she conveniently concealed from the Bush administration and the Senate Judicial Committee.

It would be absurd for any of Patricia’s fellow judges in New Orleans to claim they were totally ignorant that she was a practicing alcoholic. In fact, one can safely assume that they gave her the proverbial “judicial courtesy” of a wink and a nod.

In August 2017, Patricia was allowed avail herself of a disability retirement. Unfortunately for the taxpayers, she will continue to receive a $199,100 annual salary (100% of sitting judge salary) for the balance of her useless life.

As we speak (ca. August 2017), Patricia on a permanent taxpayer paid vacation for the balance of her useless life. Since she’s only 59-years-old, she’ll collect at least $5million in vacation pay if she her liver holds out and she lives to be 85-years-old.
