U.S. Judge Arthur Spatt of New York City; Dumbo

The state of New York presented Arthur Donald Spatt with a law license in 1949 after he graduated from the Brooklyn Law School.

Former President George Herbert Walker Bush was duped into appointing Art as a District Court Judge in Manhattan in 1989. Art didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater New York City area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

It should be noted that Art assumed Senior Status in 2004, which means he is only required to work 10-hours-a-week while continuing to receive 100% of a full-time judge’s annual salary of $199,000. 

In one matter, Art was assigned to preside over the case of Roy Brown, CEO of Brown Publishing and Brown Media vs. the K&L Gates law firm wherein Brown alleged breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference and common law fraud. To cement his status as a Dumbo, Art granted K&L’s motion to dismiss Brown’s lawsuit. However, the Court of Appeals summarily reversed the Dumbo’s dismissal ruling.

Of course, Art doesn’t much give a damn how many times his asinine rulings are reversed because he well knows that he cannot be disciplined or removed from the bench for being a Moron.

As we speak (ca. July 2017) Art continues to sit as a Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York in New York City.
