U.S. Judge Reed O’Connor of Ft. Worth, TX; bigot, lifetime porker

FYI:South Texas College of Law is ranked as the 177^th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

Former President George W. Bush was duped into appointing Reed to a seat on the U.S. District Court for the Norther District of Texas in Fort Worth in 2007. Reed didn’t get the appointment because he was the most qualified lawyer in the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth area. He got it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

Over the past twenty-two (1994 to 2016) Reed has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area was about to offer him a good paying job.

After fellow Homophobic Bigot Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued the Labor Department over its ruling that same-sex couples were lawfully entitled to access benefits under the Family and Medical Leave Act, Judge O’Connor decided to provide aid and comfort to his fellow bigots in Texas and elsewhere.

After Paxton’s sham lawsuit landed on his desk, Judge O’Connor could hardly wait to side with his fellow bigots in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Nebraska when he issued an order overturning the Labor Department’s Medical Leave benefits.

It is a well-known fact that if you’re a dyed-in-the-wool bigot and/or homophobe and you’re seeking to find a sympathetic bigoted judge, then you would file your lawsuit in Texas. This will almost inevitably lead to a biased ruling in favor of the filing bigots.

As we speak (ca. May 2016), O’Connor remains sitting as a U.S. District Court Judge in Fort Worth, Texas.
