U.S. Judge Edwin Torres of Miami; apologist for pervert

The state of Florida presented Edwin Torres with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Georgetown University Law School.

In one matter, Eddy presided over a case involving the case of Alberto Rodriguez’s 24-year-old son who was criminally charged with viewing child pornography on the internet.

The son, who is claimed to be suffering from autism, continued to download hundreds of images of sexually explicit videos and engaged in chatting with other perverts on the Internet with similar tastes. The son’s perverted conduct continued despite the fathers attempts to stop it.

After being arrested by federal agents, the son admitted that he was well aware that the Internet porn that depicted men with children was in fact “illegal” but he claimed he was addicted.”

In the face of the son’s admissions, Eddy the Apologist for Pervs unbelievably granted bond to the admitted Pervert. In doing so, Eddy denied a detention request by Assistant U.S. Attorney Jonathan Kobrinski, who had argued that the son would be a “danger to the community” if he were granted a bond while awaiting trial. Kobrinski went on to tell Eddy that Rodriguez’s appetite for Internet child porn was escalating.”

In a lame attempt at levity, Eddy granted the bond by allowing the Perv’s Father and Mother to be responsible for him. This is the same Father that failed in his attempt to prevent his son from continuing on with his criminal conduct.

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Eddy continues to sit as a U.S. Magistrate judge in Miami, Florida.
