U.S. Judge John Gleeson of New York City; Dumbo

The state of New York presented John Gleeson with a law license in 1980 after she graduated from the University of Virginia Law School.

Former president Bill Clinton was duped into appointing Johnny as a District Court Judge in 1994 even though he wasn’t the most qualified attorney in the greater New York City area. In truth, Johnny received his appointment because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

Johnny has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past thirty years (1985 to 2015). If it wasn’t for a government check, Johnny would likely be working as a low paid public defender in New York City.

In one matter, Judge Gleeson was assigned to preside over the case of the United States of America vs. Matthew and Michael Cody. The Cody brothers were found guilty of four counts of cultivating marijuana.

The Second Circuit Court of Appeals reversed the convictions because Judge Gleeson denied the defendants the right to present a meaningful defense when he rejected their proffer to rebuttal evidence to counter evidence introduced by the government on rebuttal.

The appellate court went on to rule that Johnny the Dumbo’s conduct denied the defendant’s a fair trial.

Of course Johnny the Dumbo doesn’t care how many times his foolish decisions are reversed or how much it costs the taxpayers because he can’t be removed from the bench for being a Certified Dumbo.

As we speak, (ca. October 2015) Johnny continues to sit as a district court judge in Manhattan, New York.
