Solicitor Anthony Autore of New South Wales; serial offender

 

The Law Society presented Anthony Autore with a law license in 1985.

 

The Office of the Legal Services Commissioner found Tony guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Tony’s 1st bite at the Solicitor Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to provide client with itemized billing statement
  • Delayed in transferring client file to successor solicitor
  • Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Legal Service Commission punished Tony by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Tony’s 2nd bite at the Solicitor Misfit Apple Tree

  • Without any reasonable excuse, failed to comply with requirement under Section 660 of the Legal Profession Act
  • Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct
  • Failed to assist Law Society re: ethics investigation (Up yours, said Tony!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Legal Service Commission punished Tony by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and a $3,000 fine.

 

Tony’s 3rd bite at the Solicitor Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Tony!)
  • Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct
  • Breached duty owed to client regarding undertaking

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Legal Service Commission punished Tony by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
