Attorney David Barkley of Tasmania; slacker, loser 

The Law Society of Tasmania provided David James Barkley with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the University of Tasmania School of Law.

The Legal Profession Board of Tasmania found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in unsatisfactory professional misconduct
• Engaged in gross delay involving client matter
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with his client
• Failed to pursue client matter for twenty-four (24) years

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Legal Profession Board punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed investigative costs of $11,103.13.

As we speak (ca. May 2022), Davey practices his so-called brand of law in Launceston, Tasmania.
