Solicitor Tse Kin of Hong Kong; ethical troll

The Law Society of Hong Kong presented Kenny Chun Yip Wong with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from the University of Hong Kong School of Law.

The Law Society Disciplinary Counsel found Tse Kin guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to file a final gross fee income report for his firm
  • Settle a debit note for an amount equal to 200% of the rate of contribution for the preceding indemnity period and thus compromised or impaired his own reputation or the reputation of the profession
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Tse!)
  • Filed to pay his firm’s contribution reduction adjustment

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal punished Tse by gifting him with a complimentary censure, and fined HK$180,000 ($23,082.00 US).

As we speak (ca. January 2022), Tse practices his so-called brand of law at 160-174 Lockhart Road in Wanchai, Hong Kong.
