Solicitor Vicki Pomeroy of New Zealand; ethical goblin

The Law Society of New Zealand presented Vicki Pomeroy with a law license in 1987 after she graduated from the University of Auckland Law School. 

The New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal found Vicki guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed in respond to repeated requests from ethics investigators over a 15-month period to turn over copy of a client file 
• Engaged in unsatisfactory conduct
• Breached her professional obligations
• Impeded Law Society's disciplinary process
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Vicki!)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Vicki by gifting her with a complimentary censure, a $5,000.00 fine, ordered to pay costs of $8,000.00 to the Standards Committee and to refund $3,472.00 to the New Zealand Law Society representing the Tribunal's fixed costs 

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Vicki practices with VL Pomeroy in Shortland Street, Auckland, New Zealand.
