Barrister Bruce McNiece of New Zealand; greedy loser

The Law Society of New Zealand presented Bruce Cyril McNiece with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from the University of Auckland Law School. 

The New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal found Bruce guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in unsatisfactory conduct
• Hindered or undermined the processes of the court by his actions
• Took out three loans against estate prior to court ordering all estate funds to be paid to his client thereby making the loan improper

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary censure and a fine of $7,000.
