Solicitor Paul Logan of New Zealand; ethical troll

The New Zealand Law Society presented Paul Gregory Logan with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Auckland Law School.

The Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct unbecoming a solicitor
  • Engaged in unsatisfactory conduct
  • Failed to abide by client instructions regarding a will matter
  • Failed to properly tend to client matters
  • Failed to take steps to attempt to remedy matters once his mistake was discovered
  • Demonstrated a lack of concern for his clients (Screw you, said Paulie!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary censure and ordered to pay costs of $17,512.

As we speak (ca. Logan 2018), Paulie practices with ARL Lawyers at 19 Cornwall Street in Lower Hutt, New Zealand.
