Barrister Paul Currie of Christchurch, NZ; thieving loser

The Law Society of New Zealand presented Paul Brian Currie with a law license in 1993.

The New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Charged agency fees to client when he did not incur such fees (crook)
• Failed to advise client of sham agency fee charges
• Charged client variable office expense exceeding costs actually incurred
• Failed to provide client written terms of fees to be charged
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Paulie practices with Currie Lawyers Limited in Riccarton, Christchurch, New Zealand.
