Attorney Jeannine Sommerjins of Belgium; deadbeat loser

The state of New York presented Jeannine Lutgarde Sommerjins with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from Columbia University School of Law.

The First Department Grievance Committee found Jean guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to comply with mandatory biennial attorney registration
• Failed to pay biennial attorney registration fee of $375 ($187.50 a year)
• Eddy failed to pay register and pay the mandatory fee even after he was notified and given an opportunity to cure his default

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Jean by gifting her with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2023), Jean practices her so-called brand of law with Bvda Lutgarde Sommerjins at 3061 Leefdall Berterm, Belgium.
