Attorney Marianne Walters of British Columbia; repeat offender

 

The Law Society of British Columbia presented Marianne Walters with a law license in 1985 after she graduated from the University of Victoria Law School.

 

The Law Society found Marianne guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Marianne’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Admitted to engaging in professional misconduct
  • Signed an affidavit sworn before her while leaving blank the date in the jurat so that a date could be inserted later

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Marianne by gifting her with a complimentary $3,000 fine.

 

Marianne’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Breached duties regarding an undertaking
  • Admitted to engaging in professional misconduct

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Marianne by gifting her with a complimentary $3,500 fine.

 

As we speak (ca. September 2017), Marianne practices with the Just Law Corporation at 2151 McCallum Road in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada.
