Attorney Davies Bagambiire of Toronto, CAN; deadbeat loser

The Law Society of Upper Canada presented Davies Bagambiire with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Dalhousie University Law School.

The Law Society found Davies guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to properly serve his client
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to respond to client communications in timely manner
  • Failed to deposit retainer funds into a trust account
  • Failed to account for client funds to client
  • Failed to transfer client file to client’s new attorney
  • Failed to honor financial obligations of his law practice
  • Failed to make monthly rental payments for his office suite
  • Acted dishonorably and without integrity (What’s new?)
  • Failed to remit sublease payments to his landlord

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Davies by gifting him with a complimentary 1-month suspension of his law license.
