Solicitor Chang Xu of New South Wales; lying loser

The Law Society of New South Wales presented Chang Yuan Xu with a law license in 1998.

The Legal Services Commissioner found Chang guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct
• Improperly imposed a lien
• Knowingly provided a false certificate
• Falsely claimed he had witnessed a signature
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Legal Services Commission punished Chang by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2018), Chang practices with Lawside Lawyers at 5 Belmore Street in Burwood, New South Wales, Australia
