The Law Society presented Michael Quinn with a law license in 1974.

The Legal Practice Tribunal found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide client with accounting of fees and costs
• Illegally transferred $7,100 from client’s account to his office account
• Violated the Trust Accounts Act
• Financially benefited from improperly retaining $13,877 of client funds for 14 months
• Failed to pay trust funds of $3,791 in matrimonial matter into firms general account
• Financially benefited from improperly retaining $12,225 of client funds for 9 months
• Financially benefited from improperly retaining $4,700 of client funds for 8 months
• Financially benefited from improperly retaining $16,529 of client funds for 7 months

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Queensland Bar punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license and a $15,000 fine.

As we speak (ca. August 2016), Mike practices with the Magistrates Courts Office Ava Solicitors at 363 George Street in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
