Attorney Franklin Casco, Jr. of Irvine, CA; pervert

The California Supreme Court presented Franklin Casco, Jr. with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton.

In the recent past, Casco was criminally charged with impersonating his next-door neighbors, and creating Web pages advertising sexual services from the neighbors’ home. (Orange County Register)

After his arrest, Casco pleaded not guilty to 10 felonies, including one count each of conspiracy and stalking, as well as four counts of identity and if convicted he faced up to nine years in prison.

Casco’s problems began when he sued his neighbors when they began construction on an additional room to their home. Casco’s attempt to have a court order the construction stopped was unsuccessful.

In the criminal complaint, prosecutors alleged that Casco and Larry Lorenzo Cardenas, Jr. who worked with Casco’s law firm were guilty of “harassment by electronic communications,” by pretending to be Casco’s neighbors and placing ads on websites such as Myspace.com and geocities.com that invited strangers to come to the neighbors’ home for sexual encounters.

While the neighbors were on vacation they got a call from a guard at their gated community who told them that a man was at the gate, and said he had an appointment with the wife. The wife talked to the man, who said he made the appointment via Myspace.com. The wife then got off the phone and checked Myspace.com and discovered the fake account about her and her husband, which included a cropped photo of her and pornographic language. The page falsely portrayed her as a psychologist, as a swinger and porn star who loved to star in porno movies.

Subsequently, Castro succeeded in duping the jury into finding him not guilty of the 10 criminal charges filed against him. As we all know a finding of “not guilty” does not equate to a finding of “innocent.”

The neighbors filed a civil suit against Casco and Cardenas, which is apparently still pending in Orange County Superior Court.

As we speak (ca. March 2012) Casco practices at the Law Offices of Franklin Casco Jr. & Associates at 2600 Michelson Drive in Irvine.
