Attorney Karl Gebhard, Jr. of Milwaukee; convicted bully

The state of Wisconsin presented Karl M. Gebhard, Jr. with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

The Board of Attorneys Professional Responsibility (BAPR) found Karl guilty of the following misconduct.

Karl became involved in an altercation involving his two bothers and some other men at a tavern. The owner of the tavern asked Karl and his brothers to leave.

Within an hour, a man involved in the dispute left the tavern and drove home with his wife. As they pulled into their driveway, a car pulled in behind them. The two brothers and Karl got out of the car and approached the couple’s car. When the couple locked their car doors, one of the brothers smashed the glass on the driver’s side of the car and pulled him out.

When the two brothers then began to beat the husband, the wife got out of the car, but was restrained by Karl, who held her against the garage door and covered her mouth while his brothers kicked the husband, who was on the ground. The wife got free once, but Karl recaptured her. When she got free a second time, she ran to a neighbor’s house and called the police. Karl and his brother left the scene before the police arrived. The husband suffered various injuries, including a lacerated liver due to a broke rib.

Karl the Liar denied being with his brothers at the scene, but he was positively identified at the criminal trial. Karl was convicted by a jury of felony aggravated battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. H was sentenced to 125 days in jail, placed on three years of probation, and ordered to pay restitution to the victims of his assault.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme
Court punished Karl by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2012) Karl practices with Gebhard Law Office at 8435 West Burleigh Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Karl is yet another convicted felon practicing law in Wisconsin compliments of the comedians sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
