David Cottingham of Bellingham, WA; scamming loser

The State of Washington presented David Carl Cottingham with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Seattle University School of Law.

The Washington State Bar found Gary guilty of the following misconduct.

• Unnecessary waste of judicial resources
• Engaged in five-year long boundary line dispute with neighbors
• Davey’s boundary line litigation involved two lawsuits, four judicial appeals, two administrative appeals, many motions and years of delay
• Davey’s litigious conduct caused injury to his neighbors
• Engaged in frivolous litigation with the intent to harass his neighbors
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license.
