Attorney Matthew Mattson of Kirkland, WA; ethical goblin

The state of Washington presented Matthew Mattson with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from the University of Oregon Law School.

The Washington State Bar found Matty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Used prior client confidences in support of another client’s claims against the former client
• Former client injured by misconduct involving another client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2017), Matty practices with the Law Offices of Matthew Mattson at 150 Lake Street in Kirkland, Washington.
