Attorney Mark Erikson of Vancouver, WA; slacker

The state of Washington presented Mark Alan Erickson with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Lewis and Clark Northwestern School of Law.

The Washington State Bar found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in prohibited transactions with current client
• Failed to decline or terminate representation when required to so act

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
