Attorney Catherine Fawley of Seattle; convicted criminal

The state of Washington presented Catherine L. Fawley with a law license in 1998.

The Washington State Bar found Cathy guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Cathy was convicted in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington convicted of an Act Affecting a Personal Financial Interest, in violation of 18 U.S.C. 208(a) and 216(a)(1).

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Cathy by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
