Attorney Alice Bower of Fort Worth; ethical elf

The state of Texas presented Alice Bower with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Texas Law School.

The District 7-A Grievance Committee found Alice guilty of the following misconduct.

• Accepted employment when incompetent to handle matter (idiot)
• Failed to timely advise clients opposing party filed motion to dismiss case
• Failed to investigate liquidated damages clause in contract
• Failed to discuss available options with clients
• Failed to timely advise client of discovery matters

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Alice by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 3-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Alice.

As we speak (ca. January 2018), Alice practices with the Law Office of Alice Bower at 6421 Camp Bowie Blvd in Fort Worth, Texas.
