The state of Tennessee provided Gerald S. Green with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Catholic University Law

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Gerry guilty of the following misconduct.

Gerry’s 1stbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

  • Neglected clients’ legal matters
  • Failed to adequately communicate with clients
  • Removed adverse party’s contested divorce action off the contested calendar and placed it on a non-contested calendar
  • Never informed adverse party or her attorney of court continuances in divorce action
  • Informed adverse party of hearing after hearing was held
  • Did not advise court that notice of hearing had been sent one day prior to the hearing to a party living in California

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Gerry by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

  • Failed to deliver to client all papers client was entitled to receive
  • Failed to represent client competently (Moron)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Gerry by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

 

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Gerry despite the fact that this was his third bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree.
