Attorney Russell Bean of Chattanooga; ethical gremlin

The state of Tennessee provided Russell Jennings Bean with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Russ guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Russ was convicted by a jury of larceny. Russ had taken from the possession of an FBI undercover agent a tape recorder which was used to record his conversation with the agent.

Subsequently, Russ was sentenced to 6-months in prison.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Russ by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2014) Russ practices at 600 Market Street in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
