Attorney John Dunlap of Memphis; repeat offender

 

The state of Tennessee provided John Edward Dunlap with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of Memphis Law School.

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Johnny’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Failed to comply with several court orders
  • Failed to properly withdraw from client representation
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in the unauthorized practice of law
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

Johnny’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to expedite client’s litigation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

As we speak (ca. September 2014) Johnny practices at 512 Volunteer Parkway in Bristol, Tennessee.
