Attorney Gerald Eidson of Rogersville, TN; Dumbo, repeat offender

 

The state of Tennessee provided Gerald Todd Eidson with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the Nashville School of Law. 

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Gerry guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Gerry’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Tree

  • Engaged in misconduct reflecting adversely on fitness to practice law
  • Failed to contact client witnesses as to child abuse
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Gerry!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Gerry by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

Gerry’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Tree

  • Neglected client cases
  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo) 
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Charged and/or collected unreasonable fee (cheater)
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Gerry!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Gerry by gifting him with a complimentary 15-month suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. November 2018) Gerry practices at 307 Cross Road in Rogersville, Tennessee.
