Attorney Linda Garner of Memphis, TN; moron, serial offender

 

The state of Tennessee provided Linda Kaye Kendall Garner with a law license in 1989 after she graduated from the University of Memphis School of Law. 

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Linda guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Linda’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

In one matter, Linda misled and deceived court to continue a trial date by falsely claiming she was attending memorial services for a deceased family member in Ohio when in fact she remained in Memphis and attended to other legal matters.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Linda by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

 

Linda’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Failed to communicate with clients regarding setting of a writ of inquiry in personal injury action
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to advise clients of status of legal matter

 

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Linda by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

 

Linda’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Charged and/or collected unreasonable fee
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so or did so through the acts of another
  • Entered into contingent fee agreement without doing so in writing

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Linda by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

 

Linda’s 4th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to provide competent representation (Moron) 
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so or did so through the acts of another
  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Failed to file appropriate pleading in opposition to motion for summary judgement
  • Used her trust account to pay personal expenses

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Linda by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.

 

As we speak (ca. December 2018) Linda practices at 22 North Front Street in Memphis, Tennessee.
