Attorney Charles Watson of Nashville, TN; ethical troll

The state of Tennessee provided Charles Watson Cross with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Law. 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Neglected client’s case
• Engaged in misconduct reflecting adversely on fitness to practice law
• Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so or did so through the acts of another

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2018) Charlie practices at 3813 Whites Creek Pike in Nashville, Tennessee.
