Attorney John Zimmerman of Murfreesboro, TN; serial offender

 

The state of Tennessee presented John C. Zimmerman with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as an assistant Davison County prosecutor.

 

In addition to the two instances of misconduct set forth below, Johnny previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

 

Johnny’s 2nd bite at the Attorney/Prosecutor Misfit Apple Tree

 

In one matter, Johnny made the following statement to the news media wherein he implied that a judge had lied to the jury.

 

“If we can’t make the judges tell the truth to the juries, then we’ve got a twisted system I think.”

 

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

In one matter, while he was prosecuting a murder case, Johnny found it acceptable to engage in misrepresenting the truth and withholding relevant evidence he was required by law to provide to the defense.

 

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary censure. 

 

As we speak (ca. October 2017), Johnny practices at 320 West Main Street in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
