Attorney Allen Schwartz of Knoxville; repeat offender

The state of Tennessee provided Allen E. Schwartz with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Allen guilty of the following misconduct.

Allen’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

In one matter, Allen found it acceptable to induce his clients to consent to his temporary use of their funds for his personal use for a period of at least six months.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Allen by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

  • Failed to file answer to lawsuit filed against his client
  • Failure to file response to lawsuit v. client led to default judgment being entered against his client (victim)
  • Failed to adequately communicate with client
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Allen!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Allen by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. March 2016) Allen practices at 800 South Gay Street in Knoxville, Tennessee.
