Attorney Glenn Thomason of Anderson, SC; ethical leprechaun

The State of South Carolina presented Glenn Scott Thomason with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Glenn guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Pled guilty to malicious injury to personal property, stalking, and harassment
  • Pled guilty to first offense DUI
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
  • Pled guilty to possession of marijuana
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Glenn!)
  • Plead guilty to driving with a license
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep clients informed of status of legal matter
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to promptly deliver to client or third person funds that client or third person was lawfully entitled to receive

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Glenn by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Glenn practices with the Tenth Circuit Public Defender’s Office at 201 Camson Road in Anderson, South Carolina.
