Attorney Randal Leonard of Las Vegas; ethical gnome

The state of Nevada presented Randal R. Leonard with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from the University of Utah School of Law.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Randy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct

  • Randy failed to (1) file a case appeal statement and (2) submit the filing fee with the notice of appeal as required by the Nevada Rules of Appellate Procedure on behalf of his clients
  • Failed to comply with Supreme Court order to file appeal statements and filing fee
  • Failed to file required docketinig statement with the Supreme Court on clients behalf
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Knowingly disobeying an obligation under the rules of a tribunal (Up yours, said Randy!)
  • Failed to act fairly in dealings with opposing party and counsel
  • Failed to comply with procedures and multiple orders from the Supreme Court

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Randy  by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2023), Randy practices his so-called brand of law with the Law Office of Randal R. Leonard at 2901 El Camino Avenue in Las Vegas, Nevada.
