Attorney Joseph Connors Jr. of Butte, MT; imbecilic slacker

The state of Montana presented Joseph Connors Jr. with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Notre Dame School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel of Montana (ODC) found Joey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to obtain client consent to accept compensation from another party
• Failed to communicate in writing the basis or rate of the fee and expenses for which his client would be responsible and the scope of the representation
• Failed to file application to probate decedent’s will on client’s behalf
• Failed to timely refund unearned fee of $2,500 (cheater)
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Joey!)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of her legal matter
• Failed to promptly respond to client information requests
• Failed to provide client with competent representation (imbecile)
• Failed to communicate plea offer to client and discuss it with him

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Montana Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary censure.  

As we speak (ca. August 2021), Joey practices at 49 North Main Street in Butte, Montana.
