Attorney Terry Wallace of Missoula, MT; ethical troll

The state of Montana presented Terry A. Wallace with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of Montana School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel of Montana found Terry guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to attend pretrial conference on client’s behalf
• Engaged in blatant lack of candor [lying]
• Engaged in disrespectful conduct toward a trial court
• Involved in egregious abuses of the legal rights of his adversaries
• Engaged in multiple instances of misconduct
• Disobeyed an obligation under the rules of a tribunal
• Advanced non-meritorious [BS] claims
• Made damage claims in discovery lacking any bona fide basis in law or fact
• Engaged in evasive discovery responses

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Montana Supreme Court punished Terry by gifting him with a complimentary 7-month suspension of his law license.
