Attorney Brian Fischer of Duluth; ethical leprechaun

The state of Minnesota presented Brian Campbell Fischer with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from Hamline University Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Brian guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Assisted suspended attorney in the illegal practice of law
  2. Failed to supervise suspended attorney
  3. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  4. Failed to provide State Bar with required information in a timely manner
  5. Failed to expedite litigation
  6. Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Brian!)
  7. Used misleading advertising
  8. Failed to communicate with clients
  9. Failed to comply with a court order
  10. Failed to return client files to client after being fired

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As one could have expected, as of September 10, 2015, Brian is again being investigatged by the Office of Lawyer Regulation for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As we speak (June 2014), Brian practices with the Stockman Law Office in Duluth, Minnesota.
