Attorney Kenneth Miller of Minneapolis, MN; cheating slacker

The state of Michigan presented Matthew R. Miller with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Law.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #63 found Kenny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to refund unearned fees (cheater)
  • Failed to surrender papers and property to which the client was entitled
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Knowingly made a false statement of material fact in connection with a disciplinary matter (Screw you, said Kenny!)
  • Failed to disclose a fact necessary to correct a misapprehension, and/or knowingly failed to respond to a lawful demand for information from a disciplinary authority
  • Failed to answer six requests for ethics investigation (Up yours, said Kenny!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Kenny by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license, assessed investigative costs of $2,4 15.17, and ordered he pay restitution in the amount of $15,600.00 to six former clients (victims).

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Kenny practices his so-called brand of law at 501 South 2nd Street in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
