Attorney Joel Monke of Woodbury, MN; moronic slacker

The state of Minnesota presented Joel C. Monke with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Hamline University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Joel guilty of the following misconduct.

• Assisted suspended lawyer in the illegal practice of law
• Failed to properly supervise suspended attorney
• Neglected client matters
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Utilized inadequate fee agreement
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to maintain required trust account books and records

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Joel by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2019), Joel practices at 7650 Currell Blvd in Woodbury, Minnesota.
