Attorney George Warshaw of Boston, MA; slacker, loser

The state of Massachusetts presented George Warshaw a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the New England School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Georgie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • In preparing deed and will and assisting elderly client in executing them, George took inadequate steps to assure that Mary understood the import of the documents, agreed to their terms, was competent to sign the documents and was not subject to any undue influence
  • George failed to take any steps to assure that Mary had the advice of independent counsel in connection with the deed or the will
  • Failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Georgie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, George fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.warshawdicarlo.com.  Apparently, he decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. April 2021), Georgie practices his brand of law with Warshaw DiCarlo & Associates PC at 77 Newbury Streetin Boston, Massachusetts.
