Attorney Robert Wolfe of Gloucester, MA; ethical ogre, repeater 

The state of Massachusetts presented Robert S. Wolfe with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from Boston University School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Bobby guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to maintain complete records of his receipt, maintenance, and disposition of client funds
• Failed to prepare regular and periodic reconciliation reports of client funds
• Failed to maintain a chronological check register or individual client matter ledgers
• Failed to reconcile his trust account every sixty days
• Failed to provide client with accounting of advance $10,000 fee
• During client bankruptcy matter, the client repeatedly requested that Bobby provide an accounting setting forth the manner in which the $20,000 advance fee had been applied
• Bobby never supplied the client with an accounting of the $20,000 advance fee

As one would suspect, this was not Bobby’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admoniton for engaging in a variety of misconduct. 

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Allan by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. April 2021), Allan practices his brand of law at 747 Washington Street in Brookline, Massachusetts.
