Attorney Steven Weiner of Springfield, MA; ethical goblin

The state of Massachusetts presented Steven R. Weiner with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the Western New England School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly deposited personal funds into his IOLTA office account
• Failed to
• Keep check register for his IOLTA account that that listed every transaction in chronological order with a client identifier for every transaction and a running balance after every transaction
• Failed to perform any three-way reconciliations of his IOLTA account

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2019) Stevie practices, at 930 Main Street in Springfield, Massachusetts.
