Attorney Carmen Cosaro of Methuen, MA; ethical troll

The state of Massachusetts presented Carmen Robert Cosaro with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from Boston University Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Carmen guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to maintain a segregated IOLTA account
• Commingling of client funds with his own funds
• Negligent and temporary misuse of client funds without any deprivation
• Failed to maintain adequate records for all client funds
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to segregate client and/or fiduciary funds
• Failed to maintain adequate records of client funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Carmen by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2019) Carmen practices at 265 Broadway in Methuen, Massachusetts.
