Attorney Gillian Shaw of Lawrence, KS; slacker, loser

The state of Kansas presented Gillian Rogers Shaw with a law license in 2006 after she graduated from Washburn University School of Law.

The Kansas Disciplinary Board found Gillian guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to pay the attorney registration fee
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Failed to fulfill the minimum continuing legal education requirements
• Failed to pay the continuing legal education annual fee, late filing fee, and noncompliance fee
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Gillian!)
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Engaged in bad faith obstruction of disciplinary proceedings
• Victims of Gillian’s misconduct were vulnerable 

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Gillian by gifting her with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2024), Gillian practices her so-called brand of law with The David Law Office LLC at 123 West 8^th Street in Lawrence, Kansas.
