Attorney Joshua Payton of Overland Park, KS; tax scofflaw

The state of Missouri presented Joshua Lee Payton with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law.

The Disciplinary Board found Joshua guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

In one matter, the director of revenue reported to the Clerk of Court under section 484.053 of Missouri law that Joshua was delinquent on a tax he owed or failed to file his tax returns.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Joshua by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.   

As we speak (ca. August 2001), Joshua practices his brand of law in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
