The state of Arizona presented Michael E. Kelly with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from California Western University Law School, which is a 3rd tier school that is dedicated to taking in losers that couldn’t get accepted at mainline law schools like, UCLA, Arizona State and/or USC.
The Arizona State Bar found Michael guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
Michael was primarily found guilty of failing to adequately supervise his secretary/legal assistant who hid or destroyed correspondence, failed to send correspondence as directed, misled or lied to clients and others, and affixed date stamps, court file stamps and judges’ signatures to fictitious or false documents.
The State Bar went on to find Michael guilty of the following aggravating factors:
As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Michael by gifting him with a complimentary 45-day suspension of his law license.
